Alan Shearer`s irrational hatred of West Ham Utd

Baldy bollocks digs us out at every single given opportunity when on MOTD
Is there a back story to this, went to many a game against Newcastle and we never gave him any particular kind of special treatment, the general feeling among the football community was always that he got away with far too much in terms of elbow usage
Also Trevor Francis & Chris Waddle don't particularly care for us much ???????????

Great footballer and an ok pundit. Don't agree with a lot of what he says about us but we are not the only club that come in for criticism from him. Along with LeTissier he's probably my favourite non hammers player.

To be fair he has a pop at a few Clubs on MOTD and doesn't seem to favour the big boys so whilst not a particularly brilliant pundit he doesn't seem to have a bias toward anyone.
In today's paper he has a dig at Liverpool and says if they had West Ham's defence last season they would have won the League

Never have forgiven him for pleading on Julian Dicks behalf when he got sent off for an innocuous tackle on him in Geordie land.
Always seemed a good pro to me after that, to be fair.

A former work colleague who is a Geordie hated him and said he had too much power at the club and played well past his sell by date when his pace was gone - who knows or cares always thought of him as the best centre forward of his generation.

I've got no particular dislike of him, as it happens and I don't think he's singling us out or anything.
One of my favourite players growing up as well, for obvious reasons.

Its not just Shearer its most of the Northern Monkeys. Michael Owen is very anti London on BT Sport, we all know about the ugly sisters though they are being phased out at last.
Shearer has a dislike of Hammers fans rather than the club itself IMHO

Single minded about goals and put himself about
Can remember him doing the best studs down the achilles on one of our centre halves I've seen as he shepherded the ball back to our keeper. Ref didn't suspect a thing

For what it's worth...I stood in the chicken run and had to embarrassingly ask shearer for his auto for my little nephew at the time during warm up.
I said good luck for England but hoped he had a stinker against us. He smiled and said "thanks very much mate" he promised me he would just complete a shuttle run and come back.
He walked right back over me happily signed his auto and asked for my nephews name. Whilst this was going on he was subject to the usual " warmth" of my west ham colleagues which he ignored
I have always considered him a top man for that. We win by the way.
